Game statement
Chancelings is a free social game for entertainment only.
It contains no real-money gambling and offers no opportunity to win real money or real prizes.
The game has no currency of any kind. Passes, crests and tonics are play items with no real-world value; they cannot be purchased, cashed out, exchanged or transferred.
Practice or success at social gaming does not imply future success at real-money gambling.
The game is intended for players aged 18 and over. Nothing in it is a bet, and no outcome in it is connected to any real gambling product.
How the club is built
Some design choices here are deliberate, and they are worth stating plainly because they are the difference between a card room theme and a gambling loop.
- There is nothing to spend, and nothing to spend it on. The game has no currency, no prices and no shop. Companions are collected, never bought.
- You cannot be emptied out. Every room is free and gives the same number of rounds a day. Playing badly costs you nothing but the round.
- A run does not wipe. A missed push settles one star lower and still keeps the full result for the star it lands on. There is no all-or-nothing moment anywhere.
- Nothing chases you. No timers, no energy meter, no streak you lose by leaving, no daily login penalty, and no notifications — the game has no server to send them.
- Progress cannot be bought or hurried. Every companion and every form is reachable only by playing, and the daily allowance is capped so a long session cannot outrun a short one by much.
Controls in the game
| Control | Where | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Sound effects | Settings | Silences taps, results and rewards |
| Music | Settings | Silences the club background track |
| Reset Progress | Settings | Clears the entire save after a confirmation, returning the club to its opening state |
| Keep It | Circle Stage | Ends a run at any point and settles it — stopping is always available |
| Reduced motion | Your device | The game respects your system's reduce-motion setting and drops non-essential animation |
There is no account to suspend and no self-exclusion register, because there is nothing to exclude yourself from: closing the page ends the session completely.
Keeping it a good evening
- Set your own time limit before you sit down, and use a device timer if that helps.
- Play when you are in the mood for it — not to fix a bad day or fill a restless hour.
- Take a break after a long run on the stage. The next star will still be there tomorrow.
- Remember the numbers are simulated. A hot streak here says nothing about anything outside the game.
- If the game stops being fun, close it. Nothing is lost by walking away — your save waits exactly where you left it.
Where to find help
This game involves no real money, so it cannot cause a gambling loss. Even so, if playing games of chance — in any form — is affecting your mood, your sleep, your finances or your relationships, free and confidential support exists.
